Today we celebrate the 130th Birthday of our Founder, William Mark Sexson, an American Freemason, who conceptualized and began the movement of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. Without him, we would not be here right now, celebrating sisterhood, throughout the world. Long Live Rainbow Girls!

We are very happy to have been able to orient today 10 girls who have petitioned into our Assembly. We hope to have them initiated during the Grand Assembly Session. It would be a truly memorable and meaningful day for all of them.

We're pleased to announce that we have a new member, Ina Paderanga, who was balloted this afternoon during our Stated Meeting. Her Initiation will be on October 8, 2nd Sunday at 9AM. Let's all support Ina on her journey with Rainbow! Congratulations Ina. :)

The girls will be conducting a clean-up drive and environmental sanitation lecture in the neighborhood of Tambo, Cagayan de Oro City, sometime October to November this year. This is in conjunction with Worthy Advisor, Aimee's, theme on Service.

On October 27, 2006, Anthurium #5 will be hosting a Dinner and Variety Show entitled: "A TOUCH OF RAINBOW". This is a fundraiser dinner for the upcoming Grand Session that the Assembly will be hosting. The affair will be held at SUNRIVA RestoCafe at 7:00PM. Tickets are available for P250.
